About us

Why are we one of the most respected and trusted landscape contractors in Greater Gippsland? Hint: It’s not just our good looks.

It all comes back to our core value—integrity. We like to call it the ‘Filmer Finish’—it’s where we get your job done with creativity, to the highest quality, with fuss-free problem solving and a heap of fun along the way.

About Liz

Liz started landscaping over 30 years ago and having grown up on a multifaceted farm, Liz has an ingrained understanding of the possibilities and limitations of working with Mother Nature. She can be a bitch and a beauty all in the same day—Mother Nature that is…

Liz enjoys helping you to discover the good times that can be had in your own backyard. How? Through entertaining your friends, growing your own food and giving children an opportunity to explore, learn and make great memories along the way. At the same time, you’ll be helping nature to rebuild and you’ll discover a sense of relaxation that can be experienced as soon as you pull into your driveway.

We think we are nurturing our gardens, but our gardens are actually nurturing us.

But most of all this business is about the people: our brilliant team, and our wonderful clients. Liz has a crew of long-term skilled employees who she is proud to say are happy, dedicated and have a lot of fun at work.

Dedicated to doing things better, Liz has completed a Diploma of Business, extra study in landscape design and an advanced leadership program. Liz is a Registered Builder, a member of Landscape Victoria, and a master tradesman.

We completely recommend Liz and her team, they are wonderful, highly-skilled, fabulous and fun to work with… the results delivered are always above and beyond what we hoped for.

Carpenter and guru of all things construction.

Full of vitality and energy, we think he’s a descendant of the meerkat (not to mention the physical resemblance).

team-adam.jpg

Adam (Smithers)

Ex-plumber and born-again landscaper.

Golden boy Adam is the meat in the sandwich, keeping the company functioning when Liz can’t be around. He’s also pretty good at solving our IT issues.

Favourite food: Food

team-ross.jpg

Ross (Rosco)

Concreter and second guru of all things construction.

Ross may look like a burnt-out concreter but there are still a few good years left in him yet. It’s his brain we value most anyway.

Hobbies: Lawn bowls and Richmond football club

team-daniel.jpg

Daniel (Wazza)

Bricklayer and a “goer”

If you were to judge him by appearances you wouldn’t want to meet Wazza in a dark alley, but it turns out there’s a big soft heart under those tatts.

Favourite person: His dog

team-matt.jpg

Matthew (Matt—yes, I know, not very original)
